This attractive mountain view loft is situated at the edge of the picturesque lakeside village of Strobl, yet only a 5-10 minute walk to the bakery, supermarket, post office, bank, restaurants, tourist office, the waterfront and the village centre. A public path runs by the property, that is enjoyed for cycling, jogging, horseback riding and walking, and meanders through a beautiful nature protection area. There are mountain views from all 4 sides of the apartment and the beach is a 2 minute walk from the door. Every season offers a different appeal: For the outdoor enthusiast in the winter months, there are a number of excellent downhill ski areas close by, and cross-country skiing trails which are accessible from the edge of the property, and also up at the Postalm nearby. There are museums and galleries to explore, and music events and tours to enjoy throughout the year. The Salzkammergut area of Austria is well-known for the beauty of its landscape in the lake district at the edge of the Alps, for the fascination and interest of its history, and for the intrigue of its unique culture. There is plenty to see and do, to appeal to all interests, whether it be outdoors enjoying nature, participating in high energy activities like hiking, cycling and skiing, or sightseeing and experiencing the many museums, concerts and cultural events.Strobl is one of three quaint & historic villages on the shores of Lake Wolfgang, which are linked by road and ferry service. There is good public transportation by bus and train for guests without a rental car. It is only 40 kms south of Salzburg, the famous city of Mozart, with its historic castle and Mirabell Palace, and the home of the Sound of Music . Over the summerseason you are in the center of MTB routes, there are many sights all around the region. If you want to go summer skiing, the Dachstein Glacier is only ½ hour drive from Flachau.

You will be surprised by the ambiance of this room.We have specialized in the mother-cow attitude. This means that the calves of the cows do the milking and sucking at the dams - they are responsible for the recycling of milk. Just as in the mother and child. Our cattle are kept in the playpen. You can move freely in the barn and in the outlet, are not tied down.

We have left a library of DVD's, games and CD's for your enjoyment.The lounge has double patio doors which open on to the large terrace with fantastic views of the mountains. There is also entrance hall and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.The Bedrooms Inside you will find 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king size bed with a memory foam mattress, modern oak furniture and high class fittings. You also have an LCD TV with DVD and a Bose Radio alarm clock. The Bedroom opens up onto the large balcony with stunning views of the Mountains. A Hairdryer is also supplied.The second bedroom is either a twin room or a king size room, you decide how you would like it. The room has also has an LCD TV and DVD, and a clock radio. The bedroom opens up on to the large balcony where you can sit and admire the view. The third bedroom is an ideal children's room with a large bunk bed, oak storage unit, velux window and a clock radio.BathroomsThere are two bathrooms. Downstairs you will find a shower room with a power shower, wc and sink. Upstairs is a spacious bathroom with corner jacuzzi bath (big enough for 2!), power shower, 2 person infrared sauna, WC and sink. Shops and SupermarketsSupermarkets and Shops are closed through out Austria on Sundays. If you are planning to arrive late on Saturday night please be aware of thisIn Mühlbach you will find a Tabac and a Nah und Frisch supermarket that is small but seems to fit everything in! Mühlbach also has a small restaurant and bar. It is about 10 minute walk from Mountains ViewMittersill offers ( 5 minute drive or a 10 minute bus ride) several supermarket, bakers, butchers, florists, banks, restaurants, pubs and lots more.

In winter there is the Schmittenhoehe as a family ski resort. At the nearby Kitzsteinhorn glacier you may ski until the month of June. In summer it is ideal for swimming (lake with very clean water), biking, hiking, golf etc.
